A Note from The Founder, Creator, & Artist of 40 Lime

I’ve always felt there was a need for stylish, yet affordable tennis clothing with unique prints and colors. As an avid tennis player myself, when I searched the internet for team skirts, I found this area was lacking in choices. I love how this sport is competitive, active and social, and playing several times a week myself, I wanted to look put together on and off the court.

A little background on me: I’m originally from Savannah, GA and went to college at the University of Alabama. I graduated with a degree in Interior Design but always thought I’d do something with fashion. After my daughter was born in 2011, I soon decided to start a brand called “Mix Julep” in 2013. I had some success with the brand getting recognized in magazines and was a featured designer at Charleston Fashion Week. Working on the brand Mix Julep gave me the knowledge and first hand experience to know what kind of product I needed to have to make 40 LIME successful.

There is a gap between finding quality skirts that are classic, yet unique and affordable with a wide variety of sizes. I plan to grow this brand and accommodate kids from ages 4-13 and adult sizes 0-16. It’s my mission to make every customer feel like they can confidently show up on the court looking their best, so they can play to win.
